How is the remote working policy entitlement calculated if an employee’s work rate changes during the year?

If the work rate changes multiple times during the year, the entitlement is calculated proportionally for each period based on the applicable work rate and number of days in that period. The total annual entitlement is the sum of all calculated periods. The calculation for each period is as follows: Number of days in the period / 365 x Work rate (as a decimal) x Annual entitlement. Example (Annual entitlement = 20 days) : Jan-Apr (60%) - 120 / 365 x 0.6 x 20 = 3.95 days + May-Aug (80%) - 123 / 365 x 0.8 x 20 = 5.39 days + Sep-Dec (50%) - 122 / 365 x 0.5 x 20 = 3.34 days. Total annual entitlement = 3.95+ 5.39 + 3.34 = 12.68 days.
