"Contract End Date" and "Employment End Date" have different meanings. The fact that an employee's contract ends does not necessarily mean that their employment is also ending on the same date. For example, the employee may have a fixed-term contract that ends and they are then given another contract, e.g. another fixed term contract or a permanent contract. As such, if an employee's employment is ending, HR must enter this into PeopleWeek as an additional action to the ending of the contract. Otherwise, the system will not know that the employment is ending.
