How do I use my overtime hours balance to take time off work?

Employees can request an absence using their compensation (overtime) balance. In the dropdown list of absence types you can see an absence type that is specifically for the purpose of requesting the use of any accrued compensation balance. The name of this absence type varies by organisation (depending on what they have asked for when PeopleWeek was configured). It is probably similar to "Compensation Balance" or "Overtime Balance". When an absence of this type is used it will deduct the absence from the compensation balance. Go to the left sidebar > Click on the "Time & Attendance" button > Select "Absences" > Click on the "Absence Request" > Select the type of absence that is used for requesting the use of compensation days > Select the date or date range (P1/ P2) > Click on the "Request Absence" button.
