System administrators are responsible for the configuration of auto-approved absences, including whether managers receive an auto-notification when an employee submits an auto-approved absence. Go to "Administration" > Click on "Absences" > Click on "Settings" > Click on the pencil icon next to "Send a notification to managers about auto approved absence requests" > Select "Yes" or "No".
