If 2 open-ended or partial absence requests are on the same date, the system will assign them equal importance. Let's take an example of an employee who, according to their work schedule, works 62.5% on a given day (so 5 hours instead of the normal 8 hours) and on that day they have two partial absence requests of 70%. In this situation, each partial absence request will be divided in two, i.e. each one will be reduced to 35%. The employee's working day of 62.5% (5 hours) will then be reduced by 35% for each partial absence (i.e. by 1 hour and 45 mins for each absence and 3.5 hours for the two partial absences combined (70% of 5 hours is 3.5 hours)).
