For
security reasons, PeopleWeek does not allow file names containing multiple
dots (e.g., "Report.final.version.pdf" or "Certificate 25.07.2025"). Allowing extra dots can create file parsing ambiguities
across different systems. For example, some applications interpret the last
extension (.pdf) as the true file type, while others may read the part after
the first dot (.final) as an alternate extension. Attackers can exploit this
to disguise malicious files (e.g.,"invoice.exe.pdf") or bypass security filters. Although this restriction
may cause inconvenience when uploading documents, it is part of PeopleWeek’s
commitment to best-practice IT security and to ensuring the safety of our
platform and clients. Please rename your file using a simpler format before
uploading (e.g., "Report.pdf" or "Certificate 25 June 2025").
